Christ Hughton is expected to announce his first Black Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying doubleheader games against Angola.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion manager will be confirmed as the new Ghana coach this week by the Ghana Football Association.
The Black Stars will take on Angola in the round three in Ghana on March 20 while the reverse fixture is set to take place in Angola a week later.
Ghana currently is top of Group E of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers with four points after beating Madagascar and drawing against Central Africa Republic in the first two games.
It will be interesting to see which players make the next Black Stars squad considering the fact that he was with Otto Addo as the technical advisor.
